Met Department’s Detailed Forecast: Prolonged Dry Spell Expected in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 23: The Meteorological Department has provided a detailed forecast, suggesting that Jammu and Kashmir is likely to experience an extended period of dry weather until the end of October.

As of today, the weather is generally fair and partly cloudy across most areas of the Union Territory. The Met department anticipates these conditions to persist throughout the day.

From the 24th to the 30th of October, the weather is expected to continue being fair with partial cloud cover. However, there is a notable mention of reduced visibility during the morning hours, particularly in the plains of Kashmir.

The Met department’s official emphasized that these weather conditions are not only stable but also favorable for various activities, including agricultural harvesting and outdoor pursuits.

This prolonged dry spell may provide respite to residents and agricultural activities in the region, allowing them to plan accordingly.
