JKSSB Announces Online Application Forms for Female Supervisor Roles – Apply Now!

In a recent development, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released detailed instructions for the submission of application forms for the advertised posts of Supervisor in the Social Welfare Department.

This announcement, outlined in Advertisement Notification No. 02 of 2023 dated 08.12.2023, is specifically targeted towards eligible female graduates possessing a valid Domicile Certificate.

Commencing from 15.12.2023, aspiring candidates have until 14.01.2024 to submit their application forms through the online portal of JKSSB, which can be accessed at www.jkssb.nic.in. To ensure a smooth application process, here are the key instructions:

  1. Online Mode Only: Candidates must apply through the online mode exclusively, using the JKSSB website. No other means or modes of application will be entertained.
  2. Registration: All candidates must register on the portal by clicking on the ‘Log-in’ tab available on the Board’s website.
  3. Valid Credentials: A valid e-mail ID and mobile number are mandatory for registration. These will be verified using OTP (One Time Password) based verification on e-mail.
  4. Application Form Submission: After creating login credentials, candidates can click on the ‘Apply’ tab to submit the application form for the advertised posts.
  5. Data Input and Save: Candidates are advised to fill in all the correct information in various columns and click on ‘SAVE & CONTINUE.’
  6. Photograph and Signature Upload: A recent passport-size photograph and signature must be uploaded with specific size specifications.
    • Size of Photograph: 20 KB to 50 KB (Ht. X Wd=4.5X3.5 Cms)
    • Size of Signature: 10 KB to 20 KB (Ht. X Wd=1.5X3.5 Cms)
  7. Final Submission: Before final submission, candidates must ensure that all required fields are filled correctly. Once submitted, the application form cannot be edited.
  8. Cancellation Option: Although the application form cannot be edited, candidates can cancel the application if wrongly filled up before the last submission date. In such cases, a fresh application can be submitted after paying a new fee.
  9. Application Fee Payment: Payment of fees should be made through Net banking, Debit Card, UPI, or Credit Card. Once the fee is successfully submitted, an Application ID will be generated.
    • The options will be available after clicking on Pay Now link. Candidate can pay using Net banking, Debit Card, UPI, Credit Card, as Online Payment options.
  10. No Hard Copy Submission: Candidates are not required to submit a hard copy or printout of the application form, except at the stage of Document Verification for shortlisted candidates after the examination.
  11. Payment Deadline: Payment will not be accepted after the cut-off date mentioned in the Advertisement Notification, i.e., 14.01.2023.
  12. Technical Assistance: For any difficulties faced during the submission of the application form, candidates can send a self-explanatory mail to ssbikgrievance@gmail.com. Only grievances related to active applications will be addressed through email.
