J&K Bank Launches New Premium Debit Cards, Apply Online Here
In a bid to elevate digital banking services, J&K Bank has rolled out two new cutting-edge products, Soft POS and Premium Debit Cards (available in Platinum & World variants).
The unveiling took place at the Zonal Headquarters in Jammu, with MD & CEO Baldev Prakash leading the launch ceremony, attended by Executive Director Sudhir Gupta, General Managers, Divisional and Zonal Heads, and numerous senior bank officials.
Expressing his satisfaction, MD & CEO Baldev Prakash commended the bank’s management and workforce for consistently enhancing customer experience through innovative digital solutions.
He emphasized the evolving nature of their digital offerings, aligning with industry standards in terms of features, pricing, delivery, and customer experience.
“With the unprecedented growth in mobile phone usage, Soft POS will revolutionize business payments, ensuring easy, safe, and efficient transactions. Operational efforts should focus on leveraging these new products for enhanced customer service, especially on digital platforms,” added Prakash.
General Manager (CCB) Narjay Gupta detailed the Soft POS App, equipped with Contactless payment options for MasterCard, Visa, and Rupay networks. The app facilitates payments using Debit and Credit Cards, providing businesses with a seamless way to accept card payments through NFC-enabled smartphones.
Additionally, the app features a Cash Register (e-Khata) for recording both cash and card transactions, aiding merchants in maintaining expense records and analyzing data for POS operations.

Regarding the Premium Debit Cards, General Manager (DLM) Syed Shafat Hussain Rufai stated, “We’ve designed two variants to cater to the needs of our target customer segment, ensuring attractive and feature-rich offerings.”
The Premium Debit card variants boast higher daily purchase and cash withdrawal limits, along with exclusive lounge access at select Domestic and International Airports.
Cardholders can also enjoy additional perks such as free shopping vouchers, discounted golf services, a complimentary Wellness App subscription, and more.
