JKSSB: Selection List Released for 855 Junior Engineer Posts in Jammu and Kashmir
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board has released the Provisional Selection List for 855 posts of Junior Engineer (Civil) in the Public Works (R&B) Department.
These posts were advertised through Notification No. 06 of 2022 dated 11.11.2022.
The selection process began with the receipt of requisition for these positions from the Public Works (R&B) Department, followed by the advertisement by the Board.
The category-wise break-up of these posts is as follows:
- Open Merit: 34
- ALC/RBA: 34
- PSP: 65
- EWS: 35
- Total: 855
The required qualification for these positions includes a 3-year diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute or university in India, or a degree in Civil Engineering, or AMIE Section (A&B) from India.
The OMR based Written Examination for these posts was conducted on 19.11.2023. Subsequently, the Result/Score-sheet of the examination was notified by the Board, followed by Document Verification sessions held in Jammu and Srinagar.
A Selection Committee was constituted for preparing the Provisional Selection List, which was approved by the Board in its meeting held on 25.01.2024. The Provisional Selection List, subject to certain conditions, is now available for review.
