The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, through the Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, has released the provisional selection list for the post of Panchayat Secretary under different district cadres.
A total of 1395 posts were advertised, covering districts such as Anantnag, Kulgam, Pulwama, Shopian, Bandipora, Baramulla, Ganderbal, Budgam, Kupwara, Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Udhampur, Reasi, Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban, Rajouri, and Poonch.
The requisition for direct recruitment to these posts was forwarded by the Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, with a prescribed qualification of Graduation from a recognized University for the position of Panchayat Secretary.
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) advertised these posts through Notification No. 03 of 2022 dated 26.05.2022, with the cut-off date for applications set as 16.07.2022.
