JKBOSE Releases Date Sheet for Class 10th Exams in J&K and Ladakh

The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released the date sheet for the Secondary School Examination (Class 10th) for the Annual (Regular) session 2024, applicable to the Hard Zone areas of UTs of Jammu & Kashmir/Ladakh.

According to the schedule, the exams will commence from April 4th, 2024, and will continue until May 6th, 2024. The timing for all exams is set at 11:00 AM.

The examination will begin with Vocational Subjects on April 4th, covering a range of subjects including Agriculture, Apparels, Makeup & Home Furnishing, Automotive, Beauty and Wellness, Health Care, IT& ITES, Physical Education & Sports, Plumbing, Retail, Security, Telecommunication, Tourism and Hospitality, Electronics and Hardware.

Following this, on April 12th, students will be tested in Hindi/Urdu, and on April 19th, they will have the option to choose from Additional/Optional subjects such as Arabic, Kashmiri, Dogri, Bhoti, Punjabi, Urdu, Hindi, Persian, and Sanskrit.

The exam schedule further includes Painting/Art & Drawing and Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Disaster Management, and Road Safety Education) on April 22nd and April 24th respectively.

On April 26th, students will be examined in Music, followed by General English on April 29th, Home Science on May 1st, Mathematics on May 2nd, Computer Science on May 3rd, and Science (Physics, Chemistry & Life Science) on May 6th, 2024.

The date sheet, bearing the reference number F:(Acad-C)/HZ-X/DS-AR/Exam/24, is signed by the Director Academics and dated February 27th, 2024.
