JKSSB Announces Results for Supervisor Written Test in Social Welfare Department
Jammu and Kashmir, October 3, 2024: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has published the results of the written examination for the Supervisor post under the Social Welfare Department. The exam, held on June 23, 2024, was for the District Cadre, as advertised through Notification No. 02 of 2023.
Exam Pattern and Selection Procedure
The written examination consisted of an objective-type multiple-choice format, accounting for 95 marks. Candidates who had studied Home Science, Child Development, or Sociology were eligible for an additional 5 marks. The official score sheet, reflecting candidates’ marks out of 120, was released via notice JKSSB/COE/1/2024-06 (7480543) on July 9, 2024.
Provisional Shortlisting and Document Verification
Candidates who have been provisionally shortlisted for document verification can check their results in Annexure “A.” These candidates are required to submit their original documents, including mark sheets and degree certificates, to confirm their eligibility. The 5 additional marks granted are provisional and subject to final verification by the Document Verification Committee.
Failure to provide the required documents to support claims for the extra 5 marks will result in a deduction, and the candidate’s merit will be recalculated accordingly. The JKSSB will notify the dates for document verification soon. Only those candidates who meet the merit criteria will be called for the next stage of verification.
Final Selection Requirements
Appearing in the score sheet does not guarantee a candidate’s selection. Final selection depends on the successful completion of document verification and fulfilling all the eligibility conditions. JKSSB’s decision regarding document verification will be binding and final.
