Kashmir University Announces Winter Break 2025

Srinagar, Dec 18: The University of Kashmir (KU) has declared its winter break for all teaching departments across its main and satellite campuses from January 1, 2025, to February 23, 2025.

In an official notification, the university’s Joint Registrar confirmed that while the teaching departments will remain closed during this period, departmental offices will operate as usual.

“The heads, directors, and coordinators of various departments, satellite campuses, and centers shall ensure that all scheduled examinations and other academic activities are conducted as planned,” the notification read.

The university also announced that remedial classes—conducted either offline or online—will be arranged to cover any pending syllabus during the vacation period.

This step aims to balance academic responsibilities while providing students with a well-deserved winter break.
