Change in School Timings? DSEK Issues Statement

In a recent statement, the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) asserted that amidst the pleasant weather prevailing in the Kashmir valley, there are no immediate plans to adjust school timings.

According to Tasaduq Hussain, the Director of School Education Kashmir, who addressed reporters, the current weather conditions are favorable, with temperatures hovering around 32 degrees Celsius.

He highlighted the importance of ensuring that children are equipped to handle varying weather conditions, suggesting the need to make them “weather-resistant.”

Hussain reassured that the administration remains vigilant about weather fluctuations and will take necessary actions if deemed essential. He indicated that any decision to alter school timings would be made in response to extraordinary weather circumstances.

As of now, with the weather conducive to normal school operations, there are no proposed changes to the existing schedule. However, the DSEK remains prepared to adapt to any unforeseen developments to ensure the well-being of students and staff alike.
