DSEK Announces New School Timings Across Kashmir Division

In a bid to enhance educational efficiency and align with prevailing circumstances, the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has announced a revision in school timings across the Kashmir division, slated to take effect from April 12.

Under the updated schedule, schools operating within the confines of the Srinagar municipal limits will commence classes from 9 AM, continuing until 3 PM. This adjustment aims to optimize learning hours while accommodating the needs of students and educators within the urban landscape of Srinagar.

Conversely, schools situated beyond the purview of the Srinagar municipal limits, as well as those spanning various districts across the Kashmir division, will adhere to a slightly different timeframe. Commencing at 10 AM, classes in these institutions will conclude by 4 PM, allowing for a tailored approach to educational delivery that caters to diverse geographical and logistical considerations.

The decision reflects a concerted effort by DSEK to streamline educational practices and ensure uniformity in operational procedures across the region. By establishing clear and standardized school hours, authorities aim to enhance the overall effectiveness of the education system while prioritizing the well-being and academic progress of students.

As stakeholders adapt to the revised timings, educators, parents, and students are encouraged to remain vigilant for any additional updates or directives from DSEK. This proactive approach underscores the commitment of educational authorities to foster an environment conducive to learning and development, even amidst evolving circumstances.

Stay tuned for further developments and insights as DSEK continues to navigate the educational landscape in Kashmir, striving to uphold the principles of quality education and equitable access for all.
