DSEK Announces Promotion of Several Teachers, Download List Here
In a recent development, the Directorate of School Education Kashmir has taken a significant step towards addressing vacancies in teaching positions. The Directorate, in accordance with its Office Order No. 267-DSEK of 2023, dated October 17, 2023, and Notification No: DSEK/ TS/ Prom/ Noti/ 3933, dated December 30, 2023, has promoted 285 Trained Graduate/ Post-Graduate Teachers to the position of Masters.
According to Order No: 33- (DSEK) of 2024, dated February 17, 2024, the promotion of these 285 teachers has been formalized, and they are to assume their new roles as Masters with immediate effect.
However, strict adherence to the terms and conditions outlined in the promotion order is mandated before implementation.
To ensure smooth transition and compliance, Chief Education Officers/ Drawing Disbursing Officers are tasked with verifying the fulfillment of all stipulated conditions before relieving the promoted teachers to their new assignments.
It is imperative that the newly promoted officials report to their designated places of posting within 10 days from the issuance of this order.
Failure to adhere to the stipulated timeline will result in the forfeiture of the promotion, with no claims entertained thereafter. This measure underscores the Directorate’s commitment to efficient staffing and adherence to procedural requirements.
The Director of School Education Kashmir has directed concerned authorities to disseminate this order widely and ensure its implementation within the stipulated timeframe.
Additionally, action taken reports regarding the joining and relieving of promoted teachers are to be submitted to the Directorate within 15 days for further review.
