DSEK Announces Selection List for Multiple Teacher Positions – Download PDF
The Government of Jammu & Kashmir, through the Directorate of School Education Kashmir, has issued temporary appointment orders for teaching positions in various districts. The positions include General, Science-Math, and Urdu teachers for the School Education Department.
These appointments are in accordance with Advertisement Notification No. 06 of 2017, dated 28-12-2017.
The Directorate, referencing Administrative Department’s communication No.: Edu-NGK/436/2022-01 dated 21-12-2023, and J&K Services Selection Board’s Order No. 60-SSB of 2020 dated 05-02-2020, has received satisfactory Character and Antecedents reports for additional candidates.
As per Order No: 36-DSEK OF 2024 dated: 20-02-2024, and in continuation to previous orders, seven candidates have been selected for temporary appointment. These candidates belong to districts including Anantnag, Baramulla, Bandipora, Pulwama, and Srinagar. They are appointed in the Pay Level-05 (29200-92300) as per regulations.
The appointees are instructed to report to the respective Chief Education Officer within 21 days from the date of issuance of the order. Failure to join within the stipulated time will result in the cancellation of the appointment.
The temporary appointments are subject to various terms and conditions including verification of original documents, adherence to the New Pension Scheme, and probation period of two years. Any discrepancy found in the documents provided may lead to the cancellation of the appointment and initiation of criminal proceedings.
The Directorate has also directed concerned authorities to implement the orders diligently and report any discrepancies immediately for clarification.
This move by the Government aims to fulfill staffing needs in the education sector and ensure quality education delivery across the designated districts.
