Government Announes Summer Vacation for Kashmir Colleges

Srinagar, July 12: On Friday, the Higher Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir announced a summer break for all Government Degree Colleges in Kashmir and the winter zone areas of Jammu, commencing on July 15.

The Principal Secretary of the Higher Education Department, Alok Kumar, issued an order stating that the vacation period will run from July 15 to July 24.

The announcement, reported by news agency, specifies that all Government Degree Colleges in the Kashmir division and the winter zone of Jammu division will be closed during this time.

“All Government Degree Colleges in the Kashmir division and the winter zone of Jammu division will observe summer vacation from July 15 to July 24, 2024,” the order states.
