Kashmir: Winter Vacation Announced for Faculty and Students
Srinagar, 29 Nov: The Central University of Kashmir (CUK) has released its official winter vacation schedule for faculty and students. According to a notification issued by the Dean of Academic Affairs, the vacation will commence on December 23, 2024, and conclude on February 7, 2025. Classes will resume from February 10, 2025.
The last working day for all academic programs has been set for December 20, 2024. Departments intending to continue academic activities during the break, either fully or partially, are required to submit their proposals in advance to the Dean of Academic Affairs for approval.
Administrative offices, however, will remain operational throughout the vacation period to ensure smooth functioning of university operations.
The notification has been shared with all relevant authorities, including Deans, Heads of Departments, the Controller of Examination, and the Registrar’s Office, for further action and dissemination.
