In a recent development, the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has announced a change in school timing for institutions in Srinagar city. Effective from May 6th, schools will now operate from 08:30 AM to 02:30 PM.

This decision, as communicated by the DSEK, comes after receiving approval from the competent authority. As per the directive, both Government and Private Recognized Schools situated within the municipal limits of Srinagar city are mandated to adhere to the revised timing.
