J&K: 27 DSPs promoted as Superintendent of Police (SP)
In a recent development, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, through the Home Department Civil Secretariat, Jammu/Srinagar, has sanctioned the temporary placement of Deputy Superintendents of Police (Selection Grade) as Incharge Superintendents of Police.
This decision, outlined in Government Order No.:54-Home of 2024, dated 25.01.2024, is based on various correspondences including letters from the Police Headquarters and the Special Director General, CID, J&K, as well as communication from the Police Headquarters, Union Territory of Ladakh.
