J&K Police Department Announces Transfers and Postings of SHOs – Check the List Here

In a recent development at the Range Police Headquarters South Kashmir in Anantnag, a reshuffle has been ordered for the efficient administration of the region. Order No. 45, dated 17/01/2024, outlines the immediate transfer of several inspectors.

Inspector Fayaz Ahmad (EXK001774) is moved from Anantnag to Kulgam, while Inspector Syed Nazir Ahmad (EXK002162) will now serve in Kulgam instead of Anantnag.

Inspector (AWP) Shabir Ahmad (ARP109350) is transferred from Anantnag to Shopian, and Inspector Jazib Mohammad is appointed in Shopian.

Inspector Rishi Kumar (EXK109542) is relocated from Awantipora to Anantnag, and Inspector Abdul Rashid (ARP115577) moves from Anantnag to Kulgam, with the transfer order remaining intact based on extreme compassionate grounds.

The officers mentioned are required to assume their new responsibilities promptly, emphasizing the immediate nature of these changes.

The reshuffle aims to enhance administrative efficiency in the police force across South Kashmir. Inspector Abdul Rashid’s transfer, specifically on compassionate grounds, underscores the compassionate approach taken in this decision.

The order, numbered Estt/Tfr-07/2024/1940-45, is directed to key figures, including Rayees Mohammad Bhat (IPS, Dy. Inspector General of Police, SKR, Anantnag), the Director General of Police in J&K Jammu, and the Inspector General of Police in the Kashmir Zone, Srinagar.

Local police officials in Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian, and Awantipora have also been notified for their information and necessary action.
