J&K Police Orders Transfer of SGCTs, Constables, and Head Constables

In a significant administrative move, the Armed Police Headquarters has issued Order No. 167 of 2024, dated February 14, 2024, announcing the detachment of several officials from the IRP-9th Battalion.

This directive, effective immediately, revokes the attachment of these officials to various officers and places, mandating their return to their parent unit.

The order, signed by Vijay Kumar, IPS, Director General of Police, Armed J&K Jammu, carries the reference number APHO/PERS/Attach-IR- 9/2024/4260-66. It lists a total of 36 officials from the IRP-9th Battalion who are to be detached from their current assignments and called back to their parent unit without delay.

Among the officials affected by this order are individuals holding different ranks within the battalion, including W/C Ishtiyak Ahmad, Sget Ashaq Hussain, HC Naresh Kumar, HC Tahir Nakash, HC Ganga Ram, HC Gh Hassan, and others. The detachment also includes personnel serving in various roles such as cooks, wireless operators, and constables.

The directive emphasizes the responsibility of the concerned Commandant to ensure the prompt return of these officials to the IRP-9th Battalion and to submit a compliance report to the Armed Police Headquarters within two days. This report is crucial for monitoring and ensuring the effective implementation of the detachment order.

Copies of the order have been forwarded to key authorities for their information and necessary action. These include the Director General of Police J&K Jammu, IGP APIR Kashmir, DIG IR Kashmir, Commandant IRP-9 Bn, and SSP APCR Kashmir/Jammu.

This dissemination of information ensures that all relevant stakeholders are aware of the directive and can take appropriate measures as required.
