Massive Reshuffle: 208 KAS Officers Transferred in J&K, Download List
In a recent development, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir’s General Administration Department (Services) has issued Government Order No. 561-JK(GAD) of 2024 dated 31.01.2024, announcing several transfers and postings aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency.
The reshuffle includes a series of changes affecting civil servants across different departments in the region. Among the notable shifts, Mr. Saleem Ahmad, previously serving as Collector for Land Acquisition in Rajouri, has been reassigned as Deputy District Election Officer in Poonch, replacing Mr. Gurpinder Singh.
Similarly, Mr. Nisar Ahmad Shad, who held the position of Deputy Secretary to the Government in the Labour and Employment Department, has been moved to the Skill Development Department in the same capacity.
Furthermore, Mr. Deepak Dubey, who was previously Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Katra with additional responsibilities as Sub-Registrar, Katra, has been transferred to the Directorate of Information, J&K as Deputy Director (Audio-Visual), replacing Mr. Dharam Pal.
Another significant change involves Mr. Pardeep Kumar, who was serving as Assistant Commissioner Panchayat in Reasi. He will now take charge as Project Officer for Wage Employment (ACD) in the same district, while also continuing as Assistant Commissioner Panchayat until further notice.
Moreover, Mr. Anirudh Rai, who previously held the position of Project Officer for Wage Employment (ACD) in Reasi, has been reassigned as Deputy District Election Officer in Udhampur.
Additionally, Mr. Rakesh Sharma, who served as Deputy Director at the District Employment & Counselling Centre in Jammu, will now serve as Assistant Commissioner Panchayat in Poonch.
In a move aimed at addressing pending orders of adjustment, Ms. Bureeda Majid, who was awaiting orders in the Social Welfare Department, is now posted as Project Officer for Wage Employment (ACD) in Budgam, replacing Ms. Nuzhat Khurshid.
Similarly, Ms. Naeem-ul-Nisa, also awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been appointed as Project Manager for IWMP in Poonch, replacing Mr. Israr Ahmad.
Furthermore, Mr. Javed Iqbal, who was serving as Deputy Director in the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Department in Jammu, is now transferred to the Health and Medical Education Department as Deputy Secretary to the Government, replacing Mr. Sanjeev Sharma.
Finally, Ms. Preeti Sharma, who previously served as Project Officer for Wage Employment (ACD) in Jammu, has been reassigned as Assistant Commissioner for State Taxes.
These transfers and postings come into effect immediately, signifying a strategic move by the government to streamline administrative functions across various departments in Jammu and Kashmir.
