Naib-Tehsildars Transfer Orders Issued by J&K Administration

The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, through the Office of the Financial Commissioner (Revenue), issued Order No. 700-FC(Rev) on March 16, 2024, announcing transfers and postings of Naib-Tehsildars across various administrative regions.

Effective immediately, the following changes have been made:

Zahira Akhter, stationed in Jammu, will now serve under the Regional Director of Survey and Land Records in Udhampur.

Shabir Ahmed, Ram Kumar, Vijay Kumar, and Brij Kumar, previously serving in different capacities, will now be stationed at the Revenue Training Institute in Srinagar, NT Pranco in Doda, Srinagar Poonch, and DFO, Demarcation, Jammu respectively.

Abass Ahmed, Baj Singh, Mohd Mukhtyar Zargar, Romesh Chander, Faheem Nazeer, and Obaid Peerzada will assume their new roles in various departments such as Jal Shakti (I&FC), Rajouri Commissioner, Relief and Rehabilitation (M), Jammu, Jammu Municipal Corporation, and Regional Director of Survey and Land Records, among others.

All the transferred officials are expected to report to their new assignments immediately, without any delay.

The order, signed by Additional Commissioner (Central) Dr. Tahir Firdous, with Financial Commissioner (Revenue), has been circulated to several authorities including the Principal Secretary to Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government, Revenue Department, Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, and other concerned officials for immediate compliance.

Furthermore, copies of the order have been sent to various offices for information dissemination and uploading on the official website.

This administrative reshuffle aims to streamline operations and enhance efficiency within the revenue department of Jammu and Kashmir.
