Police Station in Kashmir Recognized Among India’s Top Three
In a noteworthy recognition, the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has identified Shergari Police Station in Srinagar as one of the nation’s top three police stations.
According to a communiqué from the Joint Director & Conference Secretary Intelligence Bureau, MHA Gol, conveyed by the Administrative Officer to the Director General of Police, JK, Shergari Police Station in District Srinagar has been chosen as one of the best three police stations in the country for the year 2023.
To commemorate this achievement, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to present the trophy to the Station House Officer (SHO) of Shergari Police Station on January 5, 2024.
The award ceremony will take place at the Rajasthan International Centre in Jaipur, where the SHO has been directed to attend and personally receive the award from Home Minister Amit Shah.
