JKBOPEE Releases Provisional Selection List for 12th Based Paramedical Diploma Courses
Srinagar, October 29 – The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has made a significant announcement regarding the Provisional Selection List of candidates seeking admission to 12th Based Paramedical Diploma Courses.
Including General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM), Medical Lab Technician (MRT), Paramedical Diploma, and D. Pharma Courses for the year 2023.
The official notification, numbered 105-BOPEE of 2023, dated October 29, 2023, comes as the culmination of a series of notifications and notices issued throughout the year. Candidates who had applied for these courses are encouraged to take note of the following essential information.
The physical round of counselling for eligible candidates took place from October 5, 2023, to October 23, 2023, at BOPEE offices in both Srinagar and Jammu. This counseling session led to the Provisional Selection List, where candidates have been provisionally selected and allocated seats based on their merit and preferences.
Selected candidates are required to complete their admission formalities by or before October 31, 2023, at 4:00 p.m., and must submit the following original documents:
1. Marks Card of 10+2 class.
2. Date of Birth certificate of 10th Class.
3. Domicile Certificate.
4. Category Certificate (if applicable).
5. Medical Fitness Certificate (if applicable).
6. Any other certificate/document as required by the College/Institution.
Provisional selection letters were issued to candidates immediately after their participation in the counselling. Candidates were strongly advised to report to their allotted Colleges/Institutions without delay upon receiving these letters.
It is essential to emphasize that candidates who fail to join the allotted College/Institute by the specified date will not be eligible to participate in subsequent rounds of counselling, including any upgradation rounds conducted by the Board.
The Provisional Selection List, including Application Number, Name, Gender, Category, Name of Institution, and Discipline allotted, will be issued following the conclusion of the counselling.
In case of errors in the allotment letters, the heads of the concerned institutions will follow Annexure-A to the notification for guidance.
Colleges/Institutions are responsible for ensuring the proper verification of documents and eligibility as per the guidelines provided by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and J&K Paramedical Council. Any discrepancies should be reported to the Board for further action under the established rules.
To expedite the admission process, Colleges/Institutions are advised to keep their admission counters open, even on holidays and off-days. Candidates are urged not to delay the completion of admission formalities until the last day to avoid potential hardships.
Heads of the concerned Colleges/Institutions must communicate any shortfalls to the Board through the provided email addresses by October 31, 2023, until 5:00 p.m.
It’s important to note that admission is provisional and will be canceled if any information provided by candidates is found to be false or fabricated. Action will be taken against such candidates as per the rules.
In cases where admission is to be granted in lieu of a Reserved Category, institutions are urged to ensure the veracity of documents, particularly Category Certificates.
For Persons with Disabilities, their eligibility must conform to the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016. Any disputes regarding disability will be referred to the concerned Medical Board for assessment, and seats will be filled in subsequent rounds of counselling.
Candidates are advised to contact the concerned college/institution regarding fees and required documents for admission before the last date of admission, which is October 31, 2023.
Principals of concerned Colleges/Institutions should download a copy of this Notification along with Annexure-A from the official website of the Board (www.jkbopee.gov.in) for reference and record.
