JKBOSE 8th Result Notification Released
Great news for Class 8 students in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh! The results for the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) Examination 2022-23, which took place on December 14, 2022, have been officially declared.
What’s Next for Selected Students If you’re one of the lucky students who made it, get ready to apply online on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) as soon as it opens for applications. Keep a close watch on the official Ministry of Education (MoE) Government of India website at www.scholarships.gov.in to stay updated.
Once the portal is live, follow the provided guidelines and instructions for registration. Make sure to be accurate, especially when indicating your category (pre and post matric) during the online registration process, as changes won’t be possible later. Also, all Chief Education Officers (DNOs) are responsible for ensuring that selected candidates meet the eligibility conditions outlined in the Scheme.
Important Notice During the online verification process carried out by the concerned Institutions/DNOs, if any selected candidate is found to be ineligible for the NMMS scholarship, their selection will be canceled from the beginning (ab-initio), and the quota shortfall will be attributed to the respective Chief Education Officer (DNO).
What Happens Next Once you complete the online registration process on the NSP, the system will generate an application ID and password for you. You can use these credentials for your initial login to fill out the online scholarship application under the NMMS scheme. To access this, you’ll need to enter the OTP (One Time Password) sent by NSP to your registered mobile number.
