Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education Announces Academic Calendar for 2023-24

The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education has released the Academic Calendar for the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh for the Academic Session 2023-24.

The calendar includes important dates for various examinations and result declarations.

Examination Schedule:

• Class 10th, 11th, and 12th (Annual Regular – March Session 2024) for UT of Jammu & Kashmir (Soft Zone Areas):
  • Submission of online Admission Cum Permission Forms/Enrolment: From the 1st week of December.
  • Examination Period: From the 3rd week of March.
  • Declaration of Results: In the last week of June.
• Class 10th, 11th, and 12th (Annual Regular – April Session 2024) for Hard Zone Areas of UT Jammu & Kashmir:
  • Submission of online Admission Cum Permission Forms/Enrolment: From the 1st week of December.
  • Examination Period: From the 2nd week of April.
  • Declaration of Results: In the last week of June.
• Annual (Private) Bi-Annual 2024 examination for UT of J&K and UT of Ladakh (For all categories: Fresh Private / Failure and Reappear):
  • Examination Period: From the 3rd week of June.

Note:

The examination will be conducted by respective divisions as per a common uniform schedule.

This Academic Calendar will help students and educational institutions in the region prepare for the upcoming academic year and examinations.
