In a recent development, the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has officially released the date sheet for the Higher Secondary Examination Part-1 (Class 11th) for the annual session of 2024. This announcement is specifically applicable to the soft zone areas of the Union Territory.

Key Highlights:

  • Exams for Faculty of Science and Vocational Subjects will be held in the first week of April.
  • Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Home Science subjects will be covered in the second and third weeks.
  • Faculty of Commerce exams will be spread across the entire schedule.
  • Practical exams will be conducted separately at a later date.

Commencing on March 30, 2024, which falls on a Saturday, the examination is scheduled to conclude on April 25, 2024, marking a Thursday as its last day.

As per the information provided by the respective Joint Secretaries, the date sheet for the Practical Examination will be issued separately.

It’s crucial for examinees to note that the examination center details are specified on the Admit Card (Roll No Slips). Additionally, candidates are strongly advised to strictly adhere to the instructions mentioned on the back side of the Admit Cards. The Admit Card is required for verification on all examination days.

Furthermore, a stern advisory has been issued to all examinees, urging them not to bring any materials, including electronic gadgets like mobile phones and headphones, which could potentially assist in engaging in unfair means during the examination.

As the academic calendar unfolds, students are encouraged to prepare diligently and approach the examinations with integrity, ensuring a fair and transparent evaluation process.

  • The examination center will be mentioned on the admit card.
  • Students must carefully follow the instructions on the back of their admit cards and bring the card itself to all exam days.
