Out of Syllabus: JKBOSE Cancels Exam for One Subject

In a surprising turn of events, hundreds of 12th standard students were left in dismay as the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) inadvertently distributed 11th standard question papers during examinations.

Concerns were raised by both examination in-charges and students over the apparent oversight by the Board authorities.

According to reports from the examination centers, the question paper for the Physical Education exam differed significantly from the expected format outlined by the Board.

Shockingly, it was revealed that only two marks were allocated from the 12th standard syllabus, while the majority of the questions were sourced from the 11th standard syllabus.

The gravity of the situation became evident as students at various centers expressed distress, with some even reported to have fainted due to the distressing circumstances. This unforeseen development has prompted JKBOSE officials to take decisive action.

“Students in the center were crying, while even a couple of students fainted,” remarked one examination in-charge, underlining the severity of the situation.

In response to the crisis, JKBOSE has announced the postponement of the affected exams, with reassurance that new dates will be promptly issued. An official statement from JKBOSE affirmed, “We have decided to reschedule the exams. New dates will be issued soon,” providing a glimmer of hope for the affected students.
