The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has set the stage for the OMR Based Written Examination for the post of Accounts Assistant, Finance Department, as per Notification No. 04 of 2020, item No. 106.

The examination is scheduled to take place on January 28, 2024.

Candidates with examinations slated for the mentioned date can access their Admit Cards starting January 22, 2024, via the official JKSSB website (www.jkssb.nic.in).

The download process requires the use of the candidate’s E-mail ID and Date of Birth, with crucial instructions embedded in the Admit Card that must be carefully reviewed.

For any challenges or concerns related to Admit Card retrieval, candidates can reach out to the JKSSB Help-Desk at 0191-2461335 (Jammu) or 0194-2435089 (Srinagar), or contact JKSSB through helpdesk.jkssb@gmail.com. The Help Desk will be operational from January 22, 2024, to January 28, 2024, during office hours.

It’s emphasized that candidates claiming eligibility through misrepresentation, concealment of facts, impersonation, or fraudulent means risk cancellation of candidature and disciplinary action.

The Board holds the authority to cancel the candidature at any stage if a candidate is found ineligible.

Candidates should be aware of negative marking (1/4th of allotted marks for each wrong answer) in the examination. The detailed selection criteria and syllabus for the posts are available on the official website (www.jkssb.nic.in).

As a reminder, candidates are advised to stay updated on examination details through the JKSSB’s Official Website, as Admit cards will not be dispatched via post.
