Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the final selection list for the post of Election Assistant (Junior Scale) in the Election Department, as advertised in Notification No. 04 of 2020 dated December 16, 2020, under Item No. 099.
The Election Department had forwarded a requisition to fill 110 posts of Election Assistant (Junior Scale), with a detailed breakdown by category.
The requisite qualification for these posts included a graduation degree with a typing speed of 35 words per minute and working knowledge of Urdu, along with a six-month diploma/certificate course in computer applications from a recognized institute.
JKSSB had advertised these 110 posts in various categories, inviting applications from eligible candidates. The last date for submitting online applications was January 31, 2021.
The selection process for the Election Assistant (Junior Scale) posts involved a written/Computer-Based Test (CBT) and a Skill/Type Test. The written/CBT test carried 80% weightage, while the Skill/Type Test carried 20% weightage in the selection process.
After conducting the Skill/Type Test and Written/CBT Test, JKSSB has now released the final selection list. The Provisional Selection List for the post of Election Assistant (Junior Scale) was previously announced on September 20, 2023.
