JKSSB Announces Final Selection of Works Supervisors, Download Here
The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has released the final selection list for the post of Works Supervisor in the Public Works (R&B) Department.
This announcement comes as a result of a comprehensive recruitment process initiated through Notification No. 05 of 2020, dated 24.12.2020, under Item No. 134.
Background
The recruitment process for 76 Works Supervisor positions in the Divisional Cadre of Kashmir was set in motion following requisitions from the Public Works (R&B) Department.
These requisitions were made through Indent No. PW(R&B) NG/124/2019 dated 30.09.2020 and Indent No. PW(R&B) NG/124/2019 dated 17.12.2020. The positions required candidates to have a Matric pass or its equivalent from a recognized board or university and an ITI certificate in Building construction or Carpentry Trade.
Recruitment Process
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) advertised these positions in Notification No. 05 of 2020, dated 24.12.2020, under Item No. 134. The selection process was designed to be based on a Written Examination.
The Computer-Based Test for selecting candidates took place from 08.11.2021 to 12.11.2021. Following the examination, the result/score sheet of the candidates was published in Notification No. SSB/COE/CBT/2022/390-396 dated 15.01.2022.

- OM: 38
- RBA: 08
- SC: 08
- ST: 07
- EWS: 07
- ALC/IB: 03
- PSP: 03
- OSC: 02
