JKSSB Announces Results of Written Test for Constable Posts in Home Department
Jammu, January 15, 2025: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the results and score-sheets for the written examination conducted for the posts of Constable (SDRF/IRP/Armed/Executive) in the Home Department.
The examination was held on December 1, 2024, as per Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2024 under item numbers 01, 02, 05, and 06.
Following the written examination, the JKSSB issued a provisional answer key on the same day, December 1, 2024. Subsequently, a revised and final answer key was released on January 15, 2025. This ensured transparency and allowed candidates to assess their performance with clarity.
In compliance with S.O. 290 of 2021 issued by the Home Department, additional marks are being awarded to candidates possessing National Cadet Corps (NCC) certificates. Candidates with an NCC “C” certificate are granted 5% of the maximum marks, those with an NCC “B” certificate receive 3%, and NCC “A” certificate holders are awarded 2% of the maximum marks.
The JKSSB clarified that inclusion in the result/score-sheet does not guarantee selection. Candidates must meet all eligibility criteria specified in the advertisement. Only those within the merit-based consideration zone will proceed to the next stages, which include the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET). Details of these tests will be announced separately.
Candidates claiming additional marks for NCC certificates will be subject to verification. The JKSSB’s decision regarding the selection process will be final and binding.
