JKSSB: Document Verification Of Panchayat Secretary (VLW) Candidates

In a recent development, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has initiated the next phase of the recruitment process for the post of Panchayat Secretary.

Following the release of the result/score-sheet for the OMR Based Written Examination held on 10-12-2023, candidates falling within the consideration zone are notified to participate in the document verification process.

The official notification, dated 24.12.2023, outlined the specific details for the document verification of candidates for the advertised post under Advertisement Notification No. 03 of 2022.

The candidates falling within the consideration zone, detailed in Annexure-A, are required to physically appear before the designated Document Verification Committees of the Board.

To facilitate a smooth verification process, candidates are mandated to bring along several documents, including a copy of the online application form, two recent passport-size color photographs, and an original photo ID proof such as Aadhar card, Voter Card, Pan Card, or Passport.

Additionally, candidates must present their Date of Birth certificate, valid Category Certificate (if applicable), Domicile Certificate, 10+2 Marks Sheet/Diploma, Graduation Degree, and other relevant documents specified in the Advertisement Notification.

Furthermore, candidates who obtained qualifications from outside the UT of J&K must submit a bonafide certificate issued by the Controller/Registrar of the concerned University/Board/Institute.

The order of preferences for various items, as per Annexure B, is to be submitted in offline mode during the document verification process. A checklist sheet/form, as detailed in Annexure C, should also be submitted by candidates at the time of their Document Verification.

It is crucial for candidates to adhere to the schedule and venue indicated against each for the document verification process. Failure to appear before the designated committee on the scheduled date will result in the forfeiture of the right to selection.
