JKSSB: Issuance of Admit Cards for OMR Based Written Examination
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) is set to conduct the OMR based Written Examination for the Post of Deputy Inspector/Equivalent in the Animal/Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Department, Division Cadre, as per Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2022 under item no. 143 & 144. The examination is scheduled for 03.03.2024.
Admit Cards for candidates appearing in the examination on 03.03.2024 will be available for download from JKSSB’s official website (www.jkssb.nic.in) starting from 26.02.2024 until 03.03.2024.
Candidates are required to download their Admit Cards from the website using their E-mail ID and Date of Birth. It is crucial for candidates to carefully read and understand the instructions provided in the Admit Cards.
In case of any difficulties or issues related to downloading the Admit Card, candidates can reach out to the JKSSB Help-Desk at 0191-2461335 (Jammu)/0194-2435089 (Srinagar) or contact JKSSB via email at helpdesk.jkssb@gmail.com. The Help-Desk will be active from 26.02.2024 to 03.03.2024 during office hours.
Candidates are reminded that any misrepresentation, concealment of facts, impersonation, fraud, etc., will result in the cancellation of candidature and disciplinary action, as deemed appropriate.
The Board retains the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate found ineligible at any stage of the process.
Candidates are also informed that there will be negative marking for wrong answers (1/4th of allotted marks for each wrong answer) attempted in the examination. The detailed criteria of selection and syllabus for the post are available on the official website of the Board (www.jkssb.nic.in).
It is advised that candidates stay updated with the latest announcements and updates regarding the examinations on the JKSSB’s official website (www.jkssb.nic.in) as Admit cards will not be sent by post.
To download the JKSSB E-Admit Card, candidates can follow the stepwise procedure outlined below:
1. Visit the official website of JKSSB, www.jkssb.nic.in.
2. Look for the option to download E-Admit Card on the homepage.
3. Click on the “LOGIN” link/button.
4. Enter your log-in credentials, i.e., E-mail ID and Date of Birth. (Username: E-mail ID, Password: DOB in DDMMYYYY format).
5. Verify your basic details. In case of any discrepancies, contact the helpdesk via call or email.
6. Click on the ‘View and Print E-Admit Card’ button.
7. The JKSSB E-Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.
8. Candidates must bring the printed copy of the E-Admit Card on the day of the Examination.
