JKSSB to Issue Admit Cards for Field Assistant OMR-Based Written Examination

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced that it will be conducting an OMR-based Written Examination for the post of Field Assistant. The examination is scheduled to take place on 29th October 2023. As part of this announcement, JKSSB has released important information regarding the issuance of Admit Cards for the candidates.

Admit Card Availability:

The Admit Cards for candidates with an examination date of 29th October 2023 will be available on the official JKSSB website (www.jkssb.nic.in) starting from 24th October 2023.

How to Download Admit Cards:

To download their Admit Cards, candidates should visit the official JKSSB website and use their E-mail ID and Date of Birth. It is essential for candidates to carefully read the instructions contained in the Admit Cards.

In case candidates encounter difficulties while downloading or face issues related to the Admit Card, they can contact the JKSSB Help-Desk. The help-desk can be reached at 0191-2461335 in Jammu or 0194-2435089 in Srinagar. Additionally, inquiries can be directed to JKSSB at helpdesk.jkssb@gmail.com. The help-desk will be operational from 24th October 2023 to 29th October 2023 during office hours.

Important Note on Eligibility:

It’s important for candidates to present accurate information and not misrepresent their eligibility. Any form of misrepresentation, concealment of facts, impersonation, or fraud may lead to the cancellation of candidature and disciplinary action.

Negative Marking:

Candidates should be aware that there will be negative marking in the examination. For each wrong answer, 1/4th of the allotted marks will be deducted. Detailed criteria for selection and syllabi for the Field Assistant posts are available on the official JKSSB website.

Candidates are advised to stay updated by regularly visiting the official JKSSB website (www.jkssb.nic.in). It’s important to note that Admit Cards will not be sent by post, and candidates must download them from the website.

Procedure to Download JKSSB E-Admit Card:

  1. Visit the official JKSSB website: www.jkssb.nic.in.
  2. On the homepage, find the option to download E-Admit Card.
  3. Click on the “LOGIN” link/button on the E-Admit Card page.
  4. Enter your log-in credentials, which include your E-mail ID and Date of Birth. Your username is your E-mail ID, and your password should be in DDMMYYYY format, which is your Date of Birth.
  5. After successful completion of the above steps, your basic details will be displayed. Ensure that the details are correct, and if there’s any discrepancy, contact the helpdesk via call or email.
  6. Click on the ‘View and Print E-Admit Card’ button.
  7. The JKSSB E-Admit Card will be visible on the screen.
  8. Make sure to bring a printed copy of the E-Admit Card on the day of the examination.
