JKSSB: Selection List Released for Accounts Assistant (FAA) Post, Download Here
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced the provisional selection list for the post of Accounts Assistant, Finance Department, UT Cadre, as advertised under Notification No. 04 of 2020 dated 16.12.2020, under Item No. 106.
The Finance Department had forwarded the requisition for direct recruitment to 972 posts of Accounts Assistant, (UT Cadre) Level-5 (29200-92300), with a detailed breakdown of vacancies across various categories.
Candidates applying for these positions were required to have a graduation in any stream from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks for Open Merit and 45% marks for Reserved Category. Additionally, candidates with a post-graduate degree with 50% marks or holding a PhD degree or equivalent were also eligible for selection.
The JKSSB conducted the written examination for these posts on 28th January 2024, and subsequently issued the Result Score-Sheet of the candidates who appeared in the OMR Based Written Examination.
A Selection Committee was constituted by the JKSSB to prepare the Provisional Selection List for the advertised posts. This list, prepared as per the merit/eligibility of the candidates and in accordance with the extant rules/regulations, was approved during the Board’s meeting held on 23rd February 2024.
The Provisional Selection List is now available on the official website of the JKSSB. However, it is subject to the outcome of any pending writ petition(s)/OA(s) or enquiries involving any candidate(s) listed.
It’s important to note that this is a provisional list, and inclusion in it does not guarantee final selection.
Candidates who wish to contest their placement in the list or provide additional certificates/clarifications regarding their recommendation are advised to do so within five days from the date of notification through the email address provided.
