Health Department Directs Vacancies to JKSSB for Recruitment
In response to the recent General Administrative Department Circular (No: 01-JK (GAD) of 2023), the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir is actively addressing the issue of Non-Gazetted and Class-IV vacancies.
The circular, dated January 1, 2024, highlighed the need for the referral of these vacancies to the General Administration Department for further processing with the Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (J&K SSB) under the direct recruitment quota.
In a communication (No:-Est-5/NG/772/A28/223255) dated January 4, 2024, Chief Medical Officers from various districts including Srinagar, Budgam, Baramulla, Bandipora, Kulgam, Kupwara, Ganderbal, Shopian, Pulwama, and Anantnag have been directed to promptly submit the vacancy position of Non-Gazetted and Class-IV posts along with the required certificates.
The submission, both in soft and hard copy, is expected within the next two days.
The move signifies the commitment of the Directorate of Health Services to streamline the recruitment process and ensure that essential healthcare positions are promptly filled.
This step aligns with the ongoing efforts to strengthen the healthcare infrastructure in the region.
Various key personnel, including Chief Accounts Officer, Medical Superintendents, and other authorities, have been informed about the urgency of the matter.
The vacancies, ranging from Jr Stenographer to Jr Lab Tech, reflect the diverse roles that contribute to the smooth functioning of health services in the region.
