The university, accredited with a stellar Grade “A+” by the NAAC, is seeking eligible candidates to fill roles across various campuses, departments, institutes, and centers.

The advertised positions come with a competitive compensation package, aligning with the Pay Matrix Academic Level – 14 of the 7th CPC, ranging from 144200 to 218200. The entry pay for these roles is set at 144200, accompanied by additional allowances.

Qualifications and Requirements:

A. For the Post of Professor (Unless Mentioned Elsewhere):
– An eminent scholar with a Ph.D. in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
– Published work of high quality and active engagement in research.
– Minimum of 10 research publications in UGC-listed journals.
– Total Academic/Research score of one hundred & twenty (120) as per UGC Guidelines, July 2018.
– Ten years of teaching experience or equivalent research experience.

OR

– An outstanding professional with a Ph.D. in the relevant/applied discipline.
– Significant contributions to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
– Ten years’ experience.

B. For the Post of Professor, Shaikh-Ul-Aalam Centre for Multidisciplinary Studies:
– Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in any discipline of Social Sciences/Languages.
– Master’s Degree in Social Sciences or Languages with at least 55% marks.
– Published research work on aspects of Kashmiri Culture, History, Religion, or Philosophy.
– Minimum of 10 research publications in UGC-listed journals.
– Total Academic/Research score of one hundred & twenty (120) as per UGC Guidelines, July 2018.
