The Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir, has recently announced an Advertisement Notice (No: 01/ATF/DHSK/of 2024) dated 01/2024, inviting applications for contractual staff positions at Addiction Treatment Facilities (ATFs) in various District Hospitals across the region.

Medical Officer: The ideal candidate for this position should possess an MBBS degree from a recognized institution with Medical Council registration. Preference will be given to those with additional qualifications such as MD/DNB/DPM.
Nurse: Candidates applying for the Nurse position should preferably have a GNM/BSC Nursing qualification from an institution recognized by the Nursing Council of India. This role is essential in providing quality care and support to patients undergoing addiction treatment.
Counsellor: A bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Social Work, or Psychology from a recognized university is required for the Counsellor position. Preference will be given to candidates with a master’s degree in the same discipline. Counsellors play a crucial role in offering guidance and support to individuals dealing with addiction issues.
Data Manager: For the Data Manager position, candidates with a postgraduate degree in Computer Science are preferred. This role involves managing and organizing data related to patient treatment and progress, ensuring smooth operations within the facility.
The remuneration for these positions is competitive, with Medical Officers receiving Rs. 60,000 per month, Nurses and Counsellors receiving Rs. 20,000 per month, and Data Managers receiving Rs. 15,000 per month.
