Kashmir University Announces 10-Day Summer Break for Affiliated Private Colleges

Srinagar, Jul 15: The University of Kashmir (KU) has announced a summer break for its affiliated private colleges, scheduled from July 18 to July 27.

According to a statement from the Dean of the College Development Council, the summer break applies to all private colleges affiliated with KU in the Kashmir division and the winter zone of the Jammu division.

However, during this period, the teaching and non-teaching staff must be present at the colleges on inspection days as needed.

The announcement also specifies that library services will remain available throughout the break period, ensuring that students have access to necessary resources.

The directive emphasizes that while students will enjoy the break, faculty and staff should remain on standby for any necessary inspections.
