Amazon Scholarship 2023-24: If Your Income Is Less Than 3 Lacs, You Can Get 50,000/Year Until Graduation

In a bid to foster inclusivity and empower young women in the field of technology, Amazon has launched the Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship for the academic year 2023-24.

This initiative specifically targets first-year female students pursuing B.E./B.Tech. courses in computer science, IT, and related branches.

The scholarship program is designed to break barriers and provide opportunities for young girls in India, particularly those who are ‘First Generation Learners’ hailing from underserved and economically constrained backgrounds.

Eligible candidates must be Indian girl students enrolled in the first year of their undergraduate program in Computer Science or allied branches, with an annual family income of less than INR 3,00,000. Admission should be secured through a state or national-level entrance exam.

The selected scholars will be awarded a substantial sum of INR 50,000 per year until their graduation, aiming to alleviate financial constraints associated with pursuing higher education.

Additionally, the Amazon Future Engineer Scholars will benefit from mentorship programs geared towards tech careers, skill-building initiatives, networking opportunities, and a chance to secure an internship with Amazon.

Prospective applicants have until the 31st of December 2023 to submit their applications, and the process is exclusively online.
