Super 75B Scholarship Scheme Opens for Underprivileged Male Students in J&K
Mission Youth, Jammu and Kashmir, led by the Office of CEO, Mission Youth, J&K, is calling for online applications under the Super 75B scholarship scheme.
This initiative aims to empower meritorious MALE students from marginalized backgrounds, offering them educational opportunities.
Application Timeline:
- Start Date: 18th December 2023 (10:00 AM)
- End Date: 1st January 2024 (05:00 PM)
Late Application Submission Deadline:
Interested candidates can apply through the Online Application Link. It is crucial to thoroughly read the provided notification before submitting the application.
Objective of the Scheme:
The primary goal is to provide scholarships to deserving candidates from underprivileged sections for postgraduate and Ph.D. programs. This includes regular postgraduate courses and research programs.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Age Limit: Applicants should not exceed 30 years as of 01.01.2023.
- Qualification: Newly admitted first-year students pursuing regular master’s programs or Ph.D. with specific grade requirements.
- Family Income: Total family income not exceeding ?1.00 lakh per annum.
- Domicile: Candidates must be domiciles of Jammu & Kashmir.
Reserved Categories:
- 10% for those who lost a family member due to insurgency.
- 04% for candidates with a disability greater than 40%.
- 04 slots for special cases nominated by the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor.
Selection Process:
Merit calculation involves a tiered assessment based on academic scores and entrance examinations.
Disbursement Process:
- The scholarship is granted over two years in two installments.
- The release of each installment is subject to specific conditions and document verification.
