National Scholarship Portal NSP Face Authentication 2023-24
The National Scholarship Portal, established under the National eGovernance Plan, now incorporates a robust Face Authentication system for the upcoming academic year. This portal caters to students from the 1st standard to Post graduation, offering a range of scholarships including State, Central, UGC, and AICTE scholarships. The system ensures a simplified, mission-oriented, accountable, responsive, and transparent approach to scholarship disbursement.
Under this portal, scholarship funds will be directly transferred to the bank accounts linked with the Aadhar cards of beneficiary students, employing a hassle-free direct benefit transfer method.
NSP Face Authentication 2023-24 – Upgrading Aadhar Information
To facilitate Face Authentication, students who applied for the NSP Scholarship will receive a text message on their registered mobile numbers. This message, sent by the department, informs candidates about the institute designated for their biometric authentication. It is crucial for candidates to complete this verification before October 15.
Documents Required for NSP Face Authentication 2023-24
To undergo Face Authentication, applicants must present the following documents:
– Aadhar card
– Application ID
– User name

1. Visit the assigned institute with necessary documents.
2. CSC VLE will conduct Biometric Authentication in institute camps.
3. CSC VLE will utilize the NSP biometric authentication tool to verify applicant information.
4. Details will be sent to NSP-BA utility for confirmation before capturing a live picture.
5. Following successful validation, CSC VLE will perform biometric authentication.
6. Recorded data will be updated in the CSC database and NSP portal, indicating authentication success or failure.
