Airtel Expands 5G Coverage to All Districts in Jammu & Kashmir

Bharti Airtel, a prominent telecommunications service provider in India, has marked a significant achievement in its 5G journey. Just one year after launching Airtel 5G Plus, the company proudly announced that it now caters to more than 900,000 unique 5G customers in the stunning region of Jammu & Kashmir.

Impressively, Airtel’s 5G service is now accessible in every district across the state, reaching this milestone within a year of its initial launch.

Airtel has worked diligently to extend its 5G network across all districts and union territories in India, with a particular focus on ensuring accessibility in the picturesque landscapes of Jammu & Kashmir.

From the enchanting Dal Lake and the serene valleys of Kashmir to the remote villages of Ladakh and the Nubra Valley’s sand dunes, Airtel’s 5G coverage continues to rapidly expand, ensuring that even the far-flung border regions are connected to the digital superhighway.

Airtel’s 5G deployment has brought about transformative use cases that enhance the lives of its customers and facilitate business operations.

These initiatives include the establishment of India’s first private 5G network at the BOSCH facility in Bengaluru and a strategic partnership with Mahindra & Mahindra to convert its Chakan manufacturing unit into India’s first 5G-enabled auto manufacturing facility.

Additionally, Airtel has recently introduced Airtel Xstream Air Fiber, India’s pioneering wireless home Wi-Fi service powered by Airtel 5G Plus, now available in Delhi and Mumbai.
