Reliance Jio Introduces Rs 148 Plan With 28 Days Validity And Data
In a strategic move to reshape India’s telecom landscape, Reliance Jio, spearheaded by Akash Ambani, has rolled out an affordable plan priced at just Rs 148.
The initiative is geared towards offering Indian consumers unlimited calling, high-speed data, and exclusive access to a dozen popular Over-The-Top (OTT) platforms.
The freshly introduced Rs 148 plan boasts a data voucher, providing users with 10GB of high-speed data, valid for a period of 28 days. To take advantage of this offer, customers must maintain an active prepaid plan with the telecom giant.
Notably, the plan also incorporates JioTV Premium, an extension of the existing JioTV platform, enabling users to seamlessly explore content across various OTT platforms using a single login.
The array of OTT platforms covered by the plan includes SonyLIV, ZEE5, JioCinema Premium, Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, SunNXT, Kanchha Lannka, Planet Marathi, Chaupal, DocuBay, EPIC On, and Hoichoi.
It’s worth mentioning that exclusive access to JioCinema Premium content is facilitated through the JioCinema platform.
Once users reach the 10GB high-speed data limit, the plan ensures continued data access at a reduced speed of 64 Kbps. Subscribers will also receive a JioCinema Premium coupon through the MyJio app, available in the vouchers section upon login.
This move by Reliance Jio is expected to further intensify competition in the telecom sector, benefitting consumers with more affordable and feature-packed plans.
