No Significant Rain or Snow Expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh until November 2: Meteorological Department
Srinagar, Oct 2- The Meteorological Department confirmed on Wednesday that there are no significant forecasts for rain or snowfall in the union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh until November 2.
A meteorological department official stated that over the next 24 hours, the weather is expected to remain mostly clear to partly cloudy in most regions of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
Between October 25 and 28, the weather forecast indicates mainly clear to partly cloudy conditions for both Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
Starting from October 29, the weather is anticipated to become generally cloudy with the possibility of light rain or snow in isolated higher regions.
Between October 30 and 31, partly cloudy conditions are expected to prevail, and from November 1 to 2, the weather is predicted to be partly to generally cloudy.
“It’s worth noting that there are no forecasts of significant rain or snowfall until November 2,” the official emphasized.
These weather conditions are conducive for harvesting and the safe storage of crops, as well as for all outdoor activities.
