JKBOSE Announces Exam Schedule for 10th to 12th Standard Students in Jammu and Kashmir
Srinagar – The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released the examination schedule for 10th to 12th standard students in the region. The board’s recent announcement outlines the details of the annual regular exams for both soft and hard zones.
In the statement issued by the Director Academics of JKBOSE, it was revealed that the annual regular exams for 10th standard students in soft zones are slated to commence in the second week of March 2024.
For 11th standard students in soft zones, the exams will start at the end of March, and 12th standard exams will begin in the first week of March 2024.
For students in hard and challenging zones, including areas in Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh divisions, the board has scheduled the exams for 10th and 12th standards in the second week of April 2024. 11th standard students in these regions will sit for their exams in the last week of April.
JKBOSE has also laid out a clear timeline for result announcements. Regardless of whether the exams are conducted in soft or hard zones, the results for 10th standard exams will be declared in the third week of June 2024, followed by the 11th standard results in the last week of June.
As for the 12th standard, students can expect their results to be published in the second week of June 2024.
Of note, 444 schools in the divisions of Jammu and Kashmir have been identified for conducting annual regular exams in April instead of March. Additionally, Leh district in Ladakh has been designated as a hard zone, necessitating the scheduling of exams in April.
JKBOSE has reaffirmed its commitment to conducting exams in hard zones during the month of April.
