Central University of Kashmir Plans Offline Classes Resumption in view of Weather Forecast Forecast

Srinagar, Jan 24: The Central University of Kashmir (CUK) has announced its decision to resume offline classes starting February 19, 2024.

This move comes in light of the weather forecast, with online classes set to recommence on February 05.

In a communication obtained by news agency, the university disclosed that, due to the anticipated adverse weather conditions and with the approval of the Competent Authority, online classes will be conducted from February 05.

During this period, teachers are encouraged to conduct classes from their respective residences.

The announcement further details that the transition to physical classes will take place on February 19, with examinations slated to commence according to the established schedule from February 26.

Previously, the university had permitted departments to conclude syllabus coverage through online classes until December 31, 2023, or upon reaching syllabus completion.

The anticipated reopening date had been set for February 05.
