J&K Education Department Announces Principal Transfers; Download Order

In a recent development aimed at streamlining administrative functions, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir’s Higher Education Department has issued orders for the immediate transfer and postings of Principals.

The move, effective immediately, is geared towards optimizing the functioning of educational institutions in the region.

As per Government Order No. 9 JK(HE) of 2024, dated 18-01-2024, the following changes have been made:

1. G.M Lone: Transferred from Gandhi College Srinagar to the position of Director Colleges, J&K.

2. Abdul Wahid Makhdoomi: Assigned to the office of Director Colleges J&K.

3. Ajaz Ahmad Hakak: Posted to GDC Bomai, filling an available vacancy.

4. Gandhi College Srinagar Dean: Designated as the Dean of Cluster University Srinagar for a period of two years or until retirement, whichever comes earlier.

This significant administrative reshuffle is executed with the overarching aim of enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in the higher education sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
