J&K Govt Announces Major Administrative Reshuffle; Many Officials Transferred

Transfers and Postings Reshuffle J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Service

Srinagar, October 4, 2023 – In a move aimed at streamlining administrative operations, the Jammu and Kashmir government has issued Government Order No.1194-JK(GAD) of 2023, announcing a series of transfers and postings within the J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Service.

Effective immediately, the following officials have been transferred and assigned to new departments:

• Vinod Kumar Pandita – Section Officer, Revenue Department, Transferred to Finance Department
• Javeed Sidiq – Section Officer, J&K Services Selection Board, Transferred to Department of Disaster, Management Relief, Rehabilitation & Reconstruction
• Nisar Ahmad Shah – Section Officer, Finance Department, Transferred to Revenue Department
• Mohammad Iqbal Bhat – Section Officer, Agriculture Production Department, Transferred to Estates Department
• Bashir Ahmad Tantray – Section Officer, Information Technology Department, Transferred to Labour & Employment Department
• Vikas Sethi – Section Officer, Health & Medical Education Department, Transferred to J&K Special Tribunal
• Dimpy Koul – Section Officer, Power Development Department, Transferred to Information Technology Department
• Nazir Ahmad Khan – Head Assistant, General Administration Department, Transferred to Agriculture Production Department
• Dheeraj Sharma – Junior Stenographer, Awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, Assigned to the Office of Chairman, J&K Public Safety Act
• Rajinder Kumar – Junior Stenographer, Awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, Assigned to the Office of Chairman, Committee for fee fixation of Private Schools
• Khumaira Sheikh – Junior Assistant, Lieutenant Governor’s Grievance Cell, Transferred to State Election Commission
• Asif Javed – Junior Assistant, Awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, Assigned to Youth Services & Sports Department
• Abhinash Padha – Junior Assistant, Awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, Assigned to Tourism Department
• Neha Kumari – Junior Assistant, Awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, Assigned to the Department of Forest, Ecology & Environment
• Pankaj Kumar – Junior Assistant, Awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, Assigned to Power Development Department

These transfers and postings are part of the government’s efforts to optimize the functioning of various departments within the J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Service.
