JKSSB Announces Document Verification for Matric Level Posts
In a significant development, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has taken a crucial step towards filling various Matric Level posts. Through Notification No. JKSSB-COEOEXAM(UT)/88/2023-03 (7314392) dated 19-11-2023, the Board has released the result/score-sheet of candidates who participated in the OMR based written examination conducted on 05-11-2023.
The candidates, falling under the consideration zone for Matric Level posts, are now invited to undergo the essential document verification process. This verification aims to ensure the authenticity and eligibility of the candidates for the mentioned posts.
The notification provides detailed information about the schedule and venue for the document verification, which can be found in Annexure A.
The Matric Level posts include a diverse range, such as Assistant Mechanic, Electronic Mechanic, Fitter, Greaser Washer, Junior Electrician, Lathe Runner, Mechanic, and more.
The candidates falling under the consideration zone are advised to physically appear before the designated Document Verification Committees as per the provided schedule.
To facilitate a smooth verification process, candidates are required to present a set of essential documents in original, accompanied by self-attested copies.
These documents include the copy of Online Application Forms, two recent passport-sized color photographs, original photo ID Proof (Aadhar card/Voter Card/Pan Card/Passport, etc.), D.O.B Certificate (10 Diploma/Marks card), valid Category Certificate (if applicable), Domicile Certificate, 10+2 Marks Sheet/Diploma (if applicable), Prescribed Qualification/Certificates/Diploma as per Advertisement Notifications, Bonafide certificate in the prescribed format, and a Checklist sheet/form (as per Annexure D).
In addition to the above requirements, candidates are encouraged to submit their order of preferences for various items/posts in offline mode to the document verification committees (as per Annexure E).
For candidates who find any discrepancies or missing information in Annexure B against their name/roll number, the Board allows the submission of clubbing requests. This provision is available from 10-01-2024 to 12-01-2024 at JKSSB Central Offices in CPO Chowk, Panjtirthi, Jammu, and Zamzam Complex, Rambagh, Srinagar. It is crucial to note that no representation in this regard will be accepted after the specified deadline of 12-01-2024.
Candidates failing to appear before the respective Document Verification Committee(s) on the scheduled date will forfeit their right to selection.
The JKSSB encourages all eligible candidates to adhere to the outlined procedures to ensure a fair and transparent selection process for the Matric Level posts.
