Jammu & Kashmir Power Development Department Initiates Recruitment for 93 Junior Engineer Posts
Jammu: The Government of Jammu & Kashmir’s Power Development Department (PDD) has taken a significant step in addressing staffing needs by initiating the recruitment process for 93 Junior Engineer (Electrical) positions.
These non-gazetted posts are divided between the Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) and Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL).
The move comes in response to indents and requisition proforma submitted by the Managing Director of JPDCL, Jammu, and KPDCL, Srinagar, reflecting the urgent need to fill these vacancies.
The 93 posts will be categorized as Divisional Cadre positions, with 31 posts for JPDCL and 62 posts for KPDCL. The initiation of the selection process marks a significant development in bolstering the workforce of the power sector in Jammu & Kashmir.
As per the communication from the Jammu & Kashmir Service Selection Board, the recruitment process for these Junior Engineer positions is now underway.
This move is expected to strengthen the power sector, ensuring the efficient and uninterrupted supply of electricity to the region.
